Using Dotin's Core Banking System, Pasargad has captured significant market share by rolling out new products including virtual banking. Dotin offered a comprehensive banking solution to Pasargad with an integrated approach through its flexible architecture, multichannel support, web based architecture, and built-in banking best practices. As a result, Pasargad has become Irans second largest private bank and has been rated 257th in the world by The banker in 2013.
Tose’e Ta’avon Bank
Dotin successfully replaced the existing core banking system with a big bang approach and implemented our EFT payment switch system in parallel within 4 months. The system provided strong functionality with ease of use and a dedicated support team to Tose’eh Ta’avon Bank. Because of all the success Tose’eh Ta’avon has had since its startup, the bank decided to increase its portfolio of products and after a year of running Dotin’s Core Banking system and the EFT switch, signed up for the state of the art Dotin’s modern banking system which includes telephone, internet and mobile banking. Dotin’s Total banking solution is running at Tose’eh Ta’avon Bank currently, providing the bank with the much needed efficiency and success in the Iranian Market.
The bank started it’s operation in 2010 and was looking for a single IT partner to provide a complete end to end banking solution. Dotin was selected after going through a rigorous selection process which involved gap analysis, product demos and walk through, site visits, and negotiations. Dotin provided a complete banking solution to Tourism bank within a year which included the Dotin Core Banking System (FCB), EFT Switch and Modern Banking suite (telephone banking, internet banking, and mobile banking).
Dotin’s core banking system went live at Resalat bank in August of 2012 and our EFT Switch is in the final stages of implementation at the bank. Dotin is also conducting data migration from the legacy system over to Dotin’s Core banking system. Typical functionality of an EFT Switch includes performing a purchase, balance enquiry, withdrawal, bill payment, refund, and money transfer. All these functions are composed of a few transaction flows introduced later in this section. Apart from financial functions, there are also features for switch administration, monitoring and auditing discussed later in this section.
Refah bank invoked Dotin's consulting group to discuss the gap that existed between their current system and what the bank wished to achieve. Dotin made the vision of Refah bank a reality and integrated two of its core banking system modules namely "Loans" and "Accoutning & GL" with Refah's existing Core Banking system to meet all the requirements of the bank. The bank is currently discussing the possibility of replacement of their legacy system with Dotin's Core Banking System.
Arman Finance and Credit Institution (Ferdowsi)
Ferdowsi FCI (Financial and Credit Institution) formed as a merger between 8 well known credit institutions in Iran is a major Finance and Credit institute in Iran. Ferdowsi FCI recently implemented our Core Banking system. They plan on increasing their distribution channels of services and recently signed a contract with Dotin for our EFT switch to offer their services to their customers through diverse channels.
Imam Komeini Relief Foundation
In order to expand Imam Komeini Relief Foundation reach in helping people and organizations, the relief foundation needed an electronic payment system. The foundation explored several options through domestic and international vendors and after months of product demos, walk through and meetings, Dotin was chosen to deliver the EFT switch and a payment network.
After the much success of Pasagrad in the banking sector the bank decided to venture into the Payment Services Providing business setting up a PSP (Payment service provider) organization. The PSP of Pasargad was to provide acquiring and interchanging capabilities for authorization and routing of both on-us and interbank transactions. Pasargads PSP employed Dotin’s EFT switch and connected a network of more than 150,000 Point of Sales to provide the necessary acquiring and interchange services to merchants, retailers and banks.
